Former Legon Cities midfielder Abdul Wahab Hanan has joined Bahraini outfit Al Muharraq SC.
The 27-year-old signed a deal to join the Red Wolf for the 2025/26 season from rivals Al Shabab Club.
"Muharraq Club has signed the player Abdulwahab Hanlan to join the first football team, coming from Al-Shabab Club," wrote Al Muharraq confirming his signing.
Hanan, who spent most of his career in Portugal playing for Covilha, Loures and Moncarapachense, arrives with enormous experience and he is expected to play a key role for his new club.
"My ambition with the club is to help them to continue to win trophies," he said during his first interview.
The Ghanaian midfielder will wear the number 15 jersey for the upcoming season.
"That is the favourite number of my father. He has always been an inspiration to me and I have always wanted to make him proud," he said.
The Bahraini champions will be hoping to defend their title when the new season resumes later this year.
