Bechem United have bolstered their goalkeeping department with the acquisition of experienced shot-stopper Dennis Votere ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper joins the Hunters on a three-year deal after departing Nsoatreman FC, where he had established himself as a reliable last line of defence.
The move comes as a direct response to the departure of former first-choice goalkeeper Haruna Aziz Dari, who recently completed a switch to Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.
A club statement announcing the signing read: “We’re thrilled to welcome Dennis Votere, a commanding shot-stopper, who joins The Hunters on a three-year deal. Known for his sharp reflexes, confident aerial presence, and leadership at the back, Dennis is set to bring strength and stability between the posts.”
Standing tall and commanding in the box, Votere brings a wealth of experience, having featured for AshantiGold and Accra Lions before his most recent spell with Nsoatreman.
His arrival is expected to enhance competition and depth in Bechem United’s goalkeeping ranks.
Coach Stephen Desmond will be delighted with the addition, as he looks to build on last season’s mid-table finish and push for a stronger league campaign.
Votere becomes the club’s third official signing this transfer window, following the arrivals of Abdul Basit Mohammed and Frank Promise.
