Ghana international Mohammed Kudus has indicated his readiness to help Tottenham Hotspur defensively in the upcoming football season.
The Black Stars poster boy is one of the key signings made by Spurs this summer as part of efforts to bolster their squad for the 2025/26 campaign.
Speaking in an interview ahead of the start of the new season, Mohammed Kudus acknowledged that his strength is in the attack.
However, he wants to be able to help the team defensively, especially in big games where Tottenham Hotspur will be doing a lot of defending.
"I offer a lot offensively but defensively too. I want to make the team feel like they can depend on me because the football also needs me with stuff like that. Especially in games like that where we are going to have to be defending sometimes,” Kudus said as quoted by football.london.
With Son Heung-min leaving Tottenham Hotspur this summer, Mohammed Kudus will be expected to take up a bigger role at the club.
He has already shown glimpses of his quality in pre-season with top performances against Arsenal and Newcastle United.
