German-Ghanaian striker Ragnar Ache is not giving up on his new chapter at FC Köln.
Just three months after signing a contract until 2029, the 27-year-old striker is already showing the resilience that made him such an exciting addition to the squad.
Ragnar Ache picked up a painful laceration to his knee during the Bundesliga opener against Mainz, which Köln lost 2-1. Since then, he has stepped away from regular team training and focused on an individual program to aid his recovery. On Wednesday, the forward worked alone at the training ground, carefully following the plan set out by the club’s medical staff.
It remains uncertain if Ragnar Ache will be ready for FC Köln’s first home game of the season against SC Freiburg on Sunday evening. Fans had looked forward to seeing his pace and power add fresh energy to the attack, but for now his return is a waiting game.
