Swedish international of Ghanaian descent Isak Malcom Kwaku Hien has agreed terms to extend his contract with Italian outfit Atalanta.
The 26-year-old centre-back is expected to sign a one-year new deal with Atalanta, keeping him at the club until summer 2029.
Isak joined Atalanta in August 2024 from fellow Italian club Hellas Verona and has since established himself as a key member of the team.
Despite attracting significant interest this summer, the tough-tackling defender has committed his future to Atalanta by renewing his contract.
Since joining Atalanta, the defender has racked up 68 appearances for the club, serving two assists across the period.
Isak is expected to play a huge role for Atalanta in the upcoming 2025/26 football campaign as the club aim to make a meaningful impact.
