Kwahu East clinch Eastern Region U17 Inter-District Title; New Juaben win U15 Edition

Kwahu East were crowned champions of the 2025 Eastern Region Inter-District U17 Championship after edging Lower West Akim 1-0 in a tightly contested final at the Koforidua Sports Stadium.The decisive goal came midway through the second half after sustained pressure from Kwahu East. A swift team move ended with a composed finish to seal the victory, sparking celebrations among their players and travelling supporters. Lower West Akim pushed hard for a late equaliser but couldnt break through a resolute Kwahu East defence.Organised by the Eastern Regional Football Association, the tournament brought together some of the regions brightest U17 prospects. Coaches and scouts were in attendance throughout, using the platform to identify talent for further development.In the U15 category, New Juaben defied expectations to win the title, showcasing skill and discipline on their way to a well-deserved triumph.
