Ex-Ghana forward Augustine Arhinful tells Kwesi Appiah to be his own man

Former Ghana international Augustine Arhinful has reiterated his belief in Kwesi Appiah to become a success in his second stint with the Black Stars.

The 56-year old coach was reappointed as the Black Stars coach on Tuesday after weeks of search for coach Avram Grant, who left the role after the expiration of his contract with the Ghana FA.

"I believe coach Kwasi Appiah is the right person for the black stars job but the advice I will give to him is that he should be straightforward and upright in whatever he will do and this will help him get maximum control over the entire team and succeed as well," he told Asempa FM.

Appiah led the Black Stars to the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil but mutually terminated his contract after the tournament.
