NPP will fix Tarkwa-Nsuaem roads in due course

Tarkwa (W/R), June 28, GNA - The New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency executives in Tarkwa-Nsuaem have assured residents that government would fix most of the major roads in the municipality in due course.

Mr Benjamin Kessie, the NPP Constituency Secretary for Tarkwa-Nsuaem, made this known to the media at a press conference in Tarkwa.

Touching on NPP's records on road construction in Tarkwa-Nsuaem, Mr Kessie said under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency, Mr George Mireku Duker, the Benso and Agona-Awhetieso roads are under construction.

He said through the efforts of the hard working Member of Parliament, the Nana Ango bypass, Nsuta Township to Nsuta Junction roads have been fixed with asphalt.

"It is the NPP that constructed the Tarkwa Na Aboso to Estate Road and the Apimanim to Tarkwa Highway" he said.

"I challenge the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) party in Tarkwa-Nsuaem to state their record of roads when they were in office" he said.

Mr Kessie assured the citizenry that their desire for development especially in the road sector would be met in due course.
