Mr Guido Sopiimeh, Chief Marketing Officer MTN Ghana, speaking at the launch in Accra said insurance was more than a form of social safety net; it was a tool to absorb risks from individuals and ensure stability while promoting economic growth.
He said Insurance had therefore become even more relevant in today’s fast paced world where risks are a part of our daily lives.
Thus the onus therefore lies on individuals to recognize and take advantage of convenient insurance opportunities and make the most out of it.

Mr Francis Gota, the Country Head, aYo Ghana, said the policy was for both workers in the formal and informal sector including: drivers, hairdressers, market women, amongst and debunked the perception that insurance was for the rich and educated.
