‘Party Of The Year’ was inspired by current economic hardship — Keche

On Sunday, December 24, acclaimed Hiplife music duo Keche, will join a lineup of star-studded musicians including Perez Musik, M.anifest, Akwaboah, and legendary rapper Okyeame Kwame to perform at this year’s Citiuation All-White Outdoor party.

The ‘Citiuation All-White party is an end-of-year event hosted by Citi FM/Citi TV. This year’s event will be held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.

Confirming their participation at the event in an interview on the Citi Breakfast show, the multiple award-winning duo promised to put up a performance that would leave patrons in awe.

Keche, comprising Joshua Kojo Ampah and Andrew Kofi Cudjoe, currently holds one of the biggest hit songs for 2023 with their track ‘Party Of The Year”.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Keche Andrew said, “The current economic hardship motivated us to churn out the song”.

According to him even amidst challenges, the song is their way of saying “Let’s celebrate life, togetherness, and hope for brighter days.”
