The Kenyans in Ghana Association (KGA) took part in a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative in the spirit of giving back this holiday season. As part of their Christmas charity drive, KGA has made a donation to the Dzorwulu Special School, encompassing both financial support and in-kind contributions.
The donation from KGA includes a financial contribution earmarked for the purchase of essential furniture, aimed at enhancing the learning environment for the children at Dzorwulu Special School. In addition to the monetary support, KGA members also provided in-kind donations such as clothing, shoes, and various food items, spreading warmth and joy to the students and staff.
Ms. Emma Wenani, Chairperson of KGA, who led the representatives at the donation, expressed her heartfelt sentiments about the initiative, stating, “Christmas is a time for compassion and sharing. As members of the Kenyans in Ghana Association, we are happy to be able to contribute to the well-being of the students at Dzorwulu Special School. Our hope is that these donations bring comfort, happiness, and foster a positive environment for learning.”
Mr. Frederick Tetteh, Headmaster of Dzorwulu Special School, conveyed his gratitude, saying, “We extend our deepest appreciation to the Kenyans Living in Ghana for their generous donation. This support will undoubtedly make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students. It is heartwarming to witness such acts of kindness during the festive season, and we are truly grateful for the care shown by all of you.”
