The St. Louis Past Students Association (SLOPSA) has lauded Deputy Minority Leader Patricia Appiagyei’s achievements, describing her success as both exemplary and inspiring for their group and future generations.
During a visit by the SLOPSA Accra Chapter to honour and celebrate one of their own, President Francesca Ackim Anthony expressed the association’s pride in Appiagyei’s accomplishments. “One of our very own has been in Parliament for a long time, and she is now the Deputy Minority Leader. We decided to celebrate with her, and we are happy to see her rise to the top. It is not easy for a woman to be in Parliament and advance to such a position,” she said.
Appiagyei, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for Asokwa, was elated by the visit and pledged to make her alma mater proud. The gathering allowed the women to relive memories, reconnect and reflect on their time in school. The delegation also offered prayers and wished her well in her leadership journey. SLOPSA is the alumni association of St. Louis Senior High School, a girls’ senior high school located in Kumasi, Ghana.
