Management of the Business and Financial Times (B&FT), Africa’s leading provider of business information, has paid a courtesy call on the management of Zenith Bank (Ghana) Limited in Accra.
Discussions during the meeting centred on areas of mutual benefits, collaboration and how the two entities can work together in delivering value to their customers and the general public.
In his remarks, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) of Zenith Bank (Ghana), Henry C. Onwuzurigbo, commended B&FT for being spot-on with current and timely business and finance news and exhibiting professionalism through its write-ups while serving as a reliable source of pertinent business information.
“The relationship between Zenith Bank and B&FT will progress because we are looking forward to bringing to the fore what we as a financial institution is contributing to the economy and the society.
“We look forward to partnering more with you, as collaboration is the new route to business progress,” he said.
He noted that among the bank’s strategic initiatives for next year is a programme to support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through specialised financial products designed for SMEs.
The focus will also be on women, financial inclusion and increasing accessibility to the bank’s tailored products to meet the diverse needs of individuals and businesses.
The B&FT’s commitment to unbiased business reporting and its unwavering pursuit of journalistic excellence while remaining non-political was reaffirmed by its CEO, Dr. Godwin Acquaye.
“Professionalism has always been our hallmark. We cannot compromise on the paper’s quality,” he assured.

BrandCON Africa – another initiative by B&FT, Dr. Acquaye explains – projects indigenous brands and elevates them to the international stage including the Africa Energy Conference; Youth Economic Forum; Environmental Sustainability Conference and Women in Business Conference.
These programmes contribute to shaping the business landscape’s future and economic development of the country.
He urged Zenith Bank (Ghana) Limited to leverage some of these events which align with its objectives for measurable impacts.
