The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Wednesday, 27th February, 2018, commissioned the Fujian Sentuo Ceramics Company, a ceramic tile manufacturing company operating under the 1-District-1-Factory initiative, located in Kpone, in the Greater Accra Region.

On 6 October 2017, Ghanaians woke up to a sad story. Midfielder Kwame Bonsu has been sentenced to a two-year jail term by a court in Sweden for allegedly assaulting his partner in 2015. Then on the books of Swedish side Gefle IF, his contract was terminated.

The author believes that the current challenges that Ghana is facing are largely due to the fact that the ruling elites have refused to learn from the past and continue making the same mistakes of opportunistic, short-sighted and divisive politics.
