Four players look set for a battle to the end in their quest to win the goal king award in the Ghana Premier League at the end of the 2025/26 football season.
At the end of Week 25, Bibiani Gold Stars talisman Samuel Attah Kumi tops the top scorers’ chart with 11 goals.
He is closely trailed by Bechem United veteran Augustine Okrah, Young Apostles star Richmond Opoku, and Emmanuel Annor, all on nine goals.
With just two goals behind the top scorer, all three players could snatch the award from Attah Kumi at the end of the season if they can consistently find the back of the net.
The current situation is expected to add spice to the goal king race in the last nine matches of the league campaign.
For now, the league has taken a short pause this weekend to pave the way for the quarter-final matches in the MTN FA Cup.
Week 26 matches will be played next weekend as clubs head into the final stretch of league games.
