A major fire has broken out behind Ferro Fabrik Ltd in the Tema Heavy Industrial Area, engulfing multiple wooden structures and prompting an urgent response from the Ghana National Fire Service.
Seven fire tenders were deployed to the scene as firefighting teams work intensively to contain the blaze Thursday, June 19 (dawn).
Senior fire officers, including the Regional Commander, Operations Officer, and District Commanders, were on-site coordinating efforts to bring the situation under control.
As of now, rigorous firefighting is ongoing, with emergency teams racing against time to prevent further spread and damage.
