
The National Service Authority’s Central Management System (CMS) for postings has been suspended with immediate effect following a directive from President John Dramani Mahama.
The Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment announced the suspension in a statement on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
According to the Ministry, the decision has been taken in the national interest to allow for a comprehensive technical and forensic review of the platform.
“The attention has been drawn to emerging concerns surrounding the digital infrastructure currently in use at the National Service Authority (NSA), specifically the Central Management System (CMS) for postings.
“Following the directive from the Office of the President, the use of the CMS has been suspended with immediate effect,” the statement noted.
The Ministry assured the general public, especially National Service Personnel and stakeholders that, measures are being put in place to ensure that the operations of the Authority are not disrupted.
The Ministry added that alternative systems and verification procedures are being reviewed to maintain smooth and transparent service delivery.
“We urge all National Service Persons and the general public to remain calm and cooperative with the relevant institutions to undertake the necessary actions to safeguard the integrity of the National Service Authority,” the statement said.

After investigations, the Attorney-General at a press conference revealed that a whooping GHC548 million has been stolen from the state, which he said was orchestrated through a criminal enterprise.
Former Director-Generals Mustapha Ussif and Osei Assibey, together with former Deputy-director Gifty Oware Mensah have all been identified as suspects in the corruption scandal.
The A-G, Dr. Dominic Ayine noted that prosecution will soon start against suspects in the crime.
