Ghana international Mohammed Kudus proved his impact from the substitutes’ bench, scoring a crucial goal for West Ham United in their 3-1 win over Ipswich Town on Sunday.
Despite missing out on a starting spot for the final match of the 2024/25 English Premier League season, Kudus made his presence felt after being introduced in the 73rd minute, replacing Niclas Fullkrug.
The Black Stars star showcased his skill and precision, scoring a stunning goal in the 87th minute, assisted by Guido Rodriguez.
Kudus’ goal sealed the victory for West Ham United, who had already taken a comfortable lead thanks to James Ward-Prowse and Jarred Bowen’s goals.
Nathan Broadhead scored the consolation goal for Ipswich Town, who were already relegated.
Kudus’ goal brought his season tally to five goals and three assists in 31 appearances for West Ham United, capping off a solid season for the midfielder.
Following an underwhelming season for the ex-Ajax midfielder where he couldn’t match his impressive debut campaign, the Ghana star will be keen to improve his stats next season.
