The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has launched the Happy Hour Project in four selected cities as part of efforts to bring the Ghana Premier League closer to the people and enhance the match-day experience.
The initiative, which will be piloted in Tarkwa, Kumasi, Accra, and Dormaa, aims to create an exciting and entertaining atmosphere at match venues.
Under this project, fans around the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, Tarkwa T&A Stadium, Baba Yara Sports Stadium, and the University of Ghana Sports Stadium will be granted free entry to a designated section of the stadium from the time the gates open until 90 minutes before kickoff.
During this period, patrons can enjoy musical entertainment, pre-match football activities, and curtain-raiser matches.
The Happy Hour Project is expected to boost fan engagement and enhance the excitement of Ghana Premier League match days.
