Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has made his insatiable desire for success known, saying he’ll like to win every piece of silverware (collective and individual) with the Reds at the end of the season.
The Reds are currently top of the Premier League and look increasingly likely to nick the crown for a second time – a first since the 2019/20 season.
In the Champions league, Liverpool have been pitted against Paris Saint Germain in the last 16 after finishing at the summit of the revamped league phase.
Arne Slot’s side, however, can lay their hands on their first piece of silverware this season when they take on Newcastle in the EFL Cup final on March 16.
Salah, who is out of contract in the summer, would have loved an European treble to give much credence to his ballon d’Or ambitions and perhaps his last season with the club.
The Egyptian will have to make do without it after Plymouth Argyle stunned Liverpool in the FA Cup fifth round.
Irrespective of this, Salah, who is enjoying an incredible season with 51-goal involvements, has his sights on individual and collective success.
“Well, I’d like to win everything. First, let’s focus on winning the Premier League, Champions League and then we’ll see [what happens with the ballon d’Or],” he told TNT Sports.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are 11 points clear of second place Arsenal and take on Newcastle on Wednesday.
