Controversial entertainment pundit Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu, popularly known as Koka, has issued a public apology to Gospel legend Ohemaa Mercy.
Ohemaa Mercy had reported KOKA to the police leading to his arrest after the latter threatened to send thugs after Ohemaa Mercy if she does not pay him an amount owed him.
KOKA claimed he was owed GH¢8,000 and had unsuccessfully tried to recover the amount, hence his threats against the gospel singer.
However, in a court session on Thursday, September 26, 2024, KOKA was granted bail of GH¢2,000 with one surety by the Accra Circuit Court.
In a Facebook post on Friday, September 27, KOKA expressed regret for his actions and extended apology to Ohemaa Mercy and others who were affected by his actions.
“Friends and fans of KOKA… I am safely back from hibernation although not a pleasant experience I am a better person. God knew what he was doing. I thank you all for your love and support. To all those I unconsciously wronged including Ohemaa, I sincerely apologise.
“And to all those who made me suffer, I wholeheartedly forgive…. This is water under the bridge…. It flows forwards and never comes back…watch this space….I love you all,” he wrote.
