Dr Michael Adusei, an America-based Ghanaian businessman and a Philanthropist has built and commissioned a 14-Seater toilet facility for the Agogo Presby Basic School l.
The gesture is in honour of Nana Afrakumah Serwaah Kusi Obuodum, the Queen mother of the Agogo Traditional area.
The facility will serve the students and teachers of the Presby cluster of schools.
Dr. Adusei, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Reflective Minds Health LLC, said he was responding to a request made by the Queen mother to assist in that regard, because he felt the need to give back and contribute to the development of society that had nurtured him.
He noted that the facility would help to reduce open defecation, improve sanitation, ensure a clean environment and thus help prevent cholera.
Nana Afrakumah Serwaah Kusi Obuodum commended Dr. Adusei for the kind gesture to the schools and Agogo Township as a whole.
She urged all the citizens of Agogo, both home and in the Diaspora, to emulate the shining example of Dr. Adusei and contribute to the development of Agogo.
