Nations FC will be eager for a return to the winning track when they host Bibiani Gold Stars at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in a tasty Match Week 11 Ghana Premier League clash on Sunday, November 23, 2025.
Frimpong Manso hasn’t quite steadied the ship after taking over form Kassim Mingle as Nations FC tactician as their problems persist.
It’s still early days for Manso who has received the backing of club CEO, Kennedy Boakye-Ansah to turn things around.
Manso tasted his first defeat as Nations FC coach last weekend away to Berekum Chelsea and will be keen for a positive response against his former club.
Nations sit in 14th position in the league standings after an unimpressive start to the campaign (W2, L4, D4).The hosts face a tough test against the defending champions who occupy 5th position, two points adrift league-leading Medeama SC.
Gold Stars bounced back from their defeat to Basake Holy Stars with a narrow win over Karela United.
The Miners will look to make it two wins on the spin to stay firm in the title race but their away record doesn’t make this a walkover (W1 L3 D1).
Nations’ home form isn’t flattering either (W2 D2 L1) which makes this match one that could go either way.
Manso will be eyeing a statement win on Sunday while his former club would want to get their title defense back on track.
Both teams need the three points which makes this an unmissable encounter.
