In a dramatic twist, Eleven Wonders are set to part ways with newly appointed head coach Josef Emmanuel Sarpong, with reports indicating that the experienced tactician has resigned just days after taking charge of the struggling Ghana Premier League side.
Coach Sarpong was appointed on November 2, 2025, with high expectations that his 15 years of experience would help stabilise the club’s turbulent start to the 2025/26 campaign.
However, sources close to the club reveal that the veteran trainer has stepped down after just three matches in charge, where he lost all of them.
This has created fresh uncertainty around the technical direction of the team.
Although the club is yet to release an official statement, reports suggest internal disagreements and unresolved structural issues contributed to Sarpong’s abrupt exit.
His resignation comes at a time when the “Sure Wonders” are battling on-field difficulties, having collected only two points from ten league matches - a run that also led to the dismissal of former coach Nii Odartey Lamptey.
Sarpong’s sudden departure leaves Wonders scrambling once again for stability, with the team expected to appoint an interim coach ahead of their next Ghana Premier League fixture.
Supporters, who had hoped his arrival would spark a revival, are now left concerned about the club’s leadership and long-term direction.
