Egyptian side Pyramids FC have been named the 2025 CAF Men’s Club of the Year, triumphing over fellow nominees Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa and Morocco’s RS Berkane.
The announcement was made during Wednesday night’s CAF Awards ceremony in Rabat, Morocco.
Pyramids FC’s success came on the back of a remarkable season, highlighted by winning the CAF Champions League and the CAF Super Cup, cementing their reputation as one of Africa’s premier clubs.
Their consistent performances, tactical discipline, and depth of talent across the squad set them apart from their continental rivals.
Mamelodi Sundowns, who impressed with a strong season including a notable run at the FIFA Club World Cup after falling in the CAF Champions League final, and RS Berkane, winners of the CAF Confederation Cup, were formidable contenders but could not surpass Pyramids’ achievements.
