Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito is calling on fans to come out in huge numbers and back the team as they prepare for their outstanding Ghana Premier League clash against Young Apostles.
He believes the supporters play a key role in lifting the players to fight harder for results.
Speaking to Asante Kotoko SC TV, Karim Zito made his expectations clear as the Porcupine Warriors aim to climb the table:
"I am also expecting a victory tomorrow I am not saying this to find an excuse. I am also expecting a victory tomorrow at all cost we have to win tomorrow,"
"The fans coming motivate us when you look at the teams we are supporting outside like Man United, I am a United supporter that is why I am saying this. There was a time we were been beating but still when they play ball you see the supporters there the club is for them they shouldn't leave it for anybody.
"They should come to encourage the boys to play more because winning makes them happy if you don't come we lose it will not make you happy so come please and then watch. If you have any message you give to them you give to me I will take it,"
Kotoko sit sixth on the league table, five points behind leaders Medeama and Heart of Lions. A win would boost their push up the standings and keep hopes high among the fans.
