Ghana striker Brandon Thomas-Asante has been voted the PFA Championship Fans’ Player of the Month for October following a blistering run of form with Coventry City.
The 26-year-old scored six goals in as many matches during the month, helping Coventry rise to the top of the EFL Championship table after 15 games.
His clinical finishing and consistent performances also pushed him to the summit of the league’s scoring chart with ten goals so far this season.
Thomas-Asante’s influence has been key to Coventry’s impressive campaign, with supporters recognising his decisive impact in crucial matches.
His sharp movement, work rate, and composure in front of goal have made him one of the most feared forwards in the division.
The Ghanaian international is currently with the Black Stars squad in Japan as Otto Addo’s side prepares for friendly games against Japan and South Korea later this month.
The matches form part of Ghana’s build-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Thomas-Asante’s recognition in England adds to his growing reputation as one of Ghana’s in-form strikers, and he will be hoping to carry his club momentum into the national team setup.
