Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito has opened up about a special training routine with Guinean striker Morifing Donzo to help the player reach his best form.
The forward on Sunday scored his first goal in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season to give the Porcupine Warriors a crucial win over bitter rivals Hearts of Oak.
Assessing the performance of Donzo, Karim Zito said he believes the forward is gradually finding his rhythm in his team.
The coach further disclosed that he is working closely with the Guinean to get the best out of him.
“I think gradually he is coming. We are working on him. I have specified some training for him two times in a week. Myself and him we will be on the pitch and we will work on that, so I think by the time we go deeper into the league, he will be okay,” Zito said told AKSC Media.
Donzo will be leading the lines for Asante Kotoko on Wednesday, November 12, when the team takes on Vision FC to clear their Week 7 fixture of the Ghana Premier League season.
The match will kick off at 3 pm at Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Wednesday.
