
Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has expressed optimism about the Black Stars securing victory over Central African Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifications.
The Black Stars head into the final round of the qualifying series on top of Group I, needing four points to book a spot at the mundial.
Ghana will take on Central African Republic on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 before hosting Comoros at the Accra Sports Stadium on October 12.
Ahead of the game, Semenyo, who has been in a blistering form since the commencement of the season insists the Black Stars will triumph over Central African Republic to secure World Cup qualification.
“It’s an important game for us. We need to win, we will kill it, don’ worry. Three points and qualification to the World Cup, mark my words” he said.
The Black Stars wrapped up preparation for the much-anticipated encounter at Meknes on Wednesday and look set for the clash.
Having missed out on the upcoming 2025 African Cup of Nations to be staged in Morocco, the West African football heavyweights have set sights on World Cup qualification to apiece Ghanaians.
