Black Stars coach Otto Addo has expressed his happiness at the successful return of Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Alidu Seidu from long-term injuries.
Both players have regained their fitness after suffering anterior cruciate ligament injuries that kept them out of action for several months.
Issahaku has returned to feature for Leicester City while Seidu is back playing for Stade Rennes. Their strong performances have earned them recalls to the national team for Ghana's crucial World Cup qualifiers.
"I'm very happy for them," Addo stated. "You can't take it for granted to come back strong as they have from what I saw from their games. They really deserve it to be back and are doing well in their leagues."
Ghana faces Central African Republic on October 8 and Comoros on October 12. A victory in either match would secure Ghana's qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
