
Former Black Stars and Asante Kotoko striker, Nana Saraah Mensah, has been reported dead.
The striker passed away after struggles with his health.
Mensah is fondly remembered for scoring the winning goal against Nigeria in the 1992 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Kumasi.
He also scored an important winner in the next match away match against Togo in Ghana's next game during the qualifiers.
Following the end of his career, he moved to the United Kingdom, where he lived in Barking for several years.
According to information gathered by GHANASoccernet, he has been struggling with his health for the past five years.
The former footballer had to quit his job as a train station assistant due to the sickness which had gotten worse.
Despite his football legacy, Nana Saraah is well respected in Barking for his massive support of the Ghanaian community.
