Henry Oware says he feels settled at Lommel SK after signing a new deal that will keep him at the Belgian club until 2028.
The Ghanaian defender, who has become a key part of the team’s backline this season, described the extension as a reward for his steady growth since joining the side.
“I feel very much at home at this club and I am therefore very happy to be able to extend my contract,” Oware said.
“In a year and a half I have already learned and played a lot here. I look forward to making even more minutes and continuing to develop myself together with the team!”
The 21-year-old arrived at Lommel in January 2024 from ESTAC Troyes, who had signed him from WAFA SC in Ghana a year earlier.
Though his initial contract was set to expire soon, the club moved quickly to secure his services with a long-term extension, also adding an option for an extra year.
Since his arrival, Oware has worked his way into the starting lineup, earning praise for his discipline and composure in defence.
His new contract signals Lommel’s faith in his potential and provides continuity in a position the club sees as vital to its long-term ambitions.
