Togolese referee Kossi Fabrice Senyo will officiate the WAFU Zone B U17 Boys Championship semi-final between Ghana’s Black Starlets and Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets.
The encounter is scheduled for Tuesday evening at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast, with kickoff at 19:00 GMT.
Senyo will be assisted on the lines by compatriot Mifitahou Amidou as Assistant Referee 1 and Niger’s Fatchima Oumarou Inazdane as Assistant Referee 2. The fourth official will be Zouwaira Souley Sani Souley, also from Niger.
Ivorian official Agathe Athacou has been appointed as the Match Commissioner for the fixture, which is considered one of the tournament’s highlights given the historical rivalry between Ghana and Nigeria.
The stakes are high, as the winner of the semi-final not only secures a spot in the final but also books automatic qualification for the 2025 U17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
