Black Queens forward Princess Marfo made her second debut for FC Nordsjaelland on Monday evening in their Danish league clash against HB Koge.
Marfo, who returned to the club earlier this month, came off the bench in the 75th minute during the 3-2 home defeat at the Right to Dream Park. Her introduction came shortly after the visitors had restored their lead, and despite her efforts to help Nordsjaelland find an equaliser, the side could not recover. The result marked their second defeat of the 2025/26 season.
The winger rejoined Nordsjaelland following a year-and-a-half spell with US side Bay FC, where she struggled to recapture her best form. Her return is seen as an opportunity to reignite her career at a club where she previously enjoyed success.
On the international stage, Marfo was part of the Black Queens squad that claimed bronze at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, further underlining her pedigree.
Nordsjaelland will be hoping Marfo’s experience and attacking threat can boost their campaign as the season progresses.
