Bechem United forward Yaw Annor has expressed his delight after scoring twice on his first start for the club in their 2-0 victory over Vision FC.
The 17-year-old came up big for his team in just his first start for the Hunters in the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking after the match at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Stadium on Sunday, March 16, 2025, Annor described the win as crucial, given their recent struggles in the league.
After this game, Im happy that in my first start for Bechem United, I was able to score two goals for the team. We lost our two previous league games, so this game was a must-win for us, he said.
The Hunters dominated the match week 24 fixture, securing all three points through Annors first-half brace.
The youngster struck in the 24th minute before doubling the lead just two minutes later. Vision FC struggled to make an impact, particularly in the first half, and failed to threaten Bechem Uniteds defense.
With this victory, Bechem United climbed to sixth on the Ghana Premier League table with 33 points from 21 games.
They will aim to build on this momentum when they face Hearts of Oak at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Wednesday in their next league encounter.
