Do proper consultation â?? Ibrahim Sannie Daara urges Sports Minister, Kofi Adams

Former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Ibrahim Sannie Daara, has advised newly appointed Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, to engage in thorough consultations to ensure his success in office.Kofi Adams, the Member of Parliament for the Buem Constituency, was approved after a successful vetting process and is awaiting his official swearing-in.Having worked with several sports ministers over the years, Sannie Daara emphasized the importance of seeking guidance from experienced individuals, naming Mahama Ayariga as someone Adams should consult.Speaking to Sporty FM, he said, Kofi Adams must know how to talk so he would not be in trouble. He must do a proper consultation on what to do and what not to do.He highlighted Ayarigas contributions during his tenure as Sports Minister, particularly after the 2014 Brazil World Cup controversy, when he collaborated closely with the GFA and other ministries to secure financial support for the Black Stars.I will urge him to get close to Mahama Ayariga because he was super working with him as Sports Minister. After the scandal in Brazil, he worked closely with the GFA and other ministries and convinced them why they must help raise monies for the Black Stars.He was with the team during the AFCON qualifiers and in 2015, the team played in the AFCON finals. These are the people he must consult and I know he will be a success if he does that, he added.Once sworn in, Kofi Adams will take over from Mustapha Ussif, who served as Sports Minister from 2021 to 2024 under the NPP administration.
