Mr Ibrahim Mahama, owner of the construction company, Engineers and Planners and a brother of former President John Mahama has been granted bail after an arrest on Tuesday by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO). The reasons for Mr Mahama's arrest has not been officially made public but Graphic Online gathers it is in relation to an alleged dud cheque issued to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) with regards to some goods cleared at the Tema Port.

The National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA) has slashed the registration fee for corporate trustees wishing to operate in the informal sector from GH¢5,000 to GH¢1,000, as part of measures aimed at enticing more trustees to rope non-formal workers into the pension scheme.
