Banking and finance heavyweights will headline the maiden edition of the Women in Business (WIB) dialogue series today at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Accra.
The event, organised by the B&FT, Africa’s leading source of relevant business information, will feature prominent figures, including Dr. Edith Dankwa, Board Chair of B&FT, and Kosi Yankey-Ayeh, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ghana Enterprise Agency.
The event will also see Dr. Kwaku Arthur-Annobil, Strategy Lead and Business Manager at Stanbic Bank; Gloria Cabutey-Adodadji, Sector Head of SME and Retail Banking at Zenith Bank Ghana; Nana Esi Idun-Artkhurst, Divisional Director of Retail and Business Banking at Fidelity Bank; Allen Quaye, Head – Retail Banking at FBNBank; Dr. Emmanuel Osei Asiamah, Executive Chairman of Standard Pension; and Dr. Wanida Lewis, CEO of Crescendo Foods share invaluable insight on the subject matter.

The dialogue series themed ‘investing in women-owned businesses for Ghana’s transformation agenda: a call for action‘ comes amid growing recognition of the significant role women entrepreneurs play in driving economic growth.
Studies show that women-owned businesses hold immense potential, but they often face challenges in accessing resources and funding.
The dialogue series aims to bring together leading minds from various sectors to explore ways to support and empower women-owned businesses.
The speakers represent a diverse range of expertise, including banking, finance, entrepreneurship and government.
The discussions are expected to focus on identifying the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, exploring strategies to increase access to funding, and promoting an environment that fosters the growth of women-led businesses.
