Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, is set to tour the Western Region from Monday, November 25, 2024 to Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
This three-day tour is part of his nationwide campaign to galvanize votes for the party he leads. With less than two weeks to the 7th December General Elections, John Mahama will visit all the constituencies in the region.
Mahama will commence his campaign in the region by paying a courtesy call on the Western Regional House of Chiefs to pay homage to Nananom and also gather firsthand information on the challenges facing the region. He will then meet with the clergy in the Region.
On the first day of the tour, Mahama will visit the Wassa East constituency, followed by Shama, Essikadu-Ketan, Sekondi, Effia, Kwesimintsim, and Takoradi constituencies.
On the second day, the campaign will take him to Mpohor, Ahanta West, Jomoro, Ellembelle, and Tarkwa Nsuaem constituencies.
The final day of the three-day tour will begin in Kutu Krom in the Evalue Gwira Ajomoro constituency. From there, he will proceed to the Prestea Huni-Valley constituency, Amenfi West, Amenfi Central, and conclude in Amenfi East, where he is expected to address a durbar of chiefs and the people of Wassa Japa.
