The Minister of Finance Dr Mohammed Amin Adam has said that Ghanaian authorities intend to leverage Artificial intelligence (AI) to harness the ingenuity and talents of our people.
This, he said, would help build a self-sufficient, safe, and prosperous society capable of delivering jobs and a dignified future for our people.

Dr Amin Adam explained that Artificial intelligence (AI) is forecast to contribute up to US$15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030, of which US$1.2 trillion could be generated in Africa, thereby making AI one of the biggest economic opportunities available to our Continent.
“In Ghana, we want to leverage AI to harness the ingenuity and talents of our people so we can build a self-sufficient, safe, and prosperous society capable of delivering jobs and a dignified future for our people” the Minister for Finance said during the AI conference held in Accra on Monday March 19.
