
Medeama and Samartex shared the points in a thrilling Ghana Premier League encounter at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa on Saturday.
The game had plenty of drama as Medeama came from behind to secure a 1–1 draw, a result that keeps them temporarily top of the league table, pending the outcome of other fixtures.

However, Medeama’s relentless pressure finally paid off in the dying moments of the match. In the 89th minute, Kingsley Braye pounced on a rebound, tapping home from close range to rescue a point for the defending champions.

Despite the equaliser, Medeama dominated proceedings throughout — registering 29 total shots to Samartex’s four, including 13 on target and 13 corner kicks.
The result extends Samartex’s unbeaten run to six games, with two wins and four draws. Medeama will next host Swedru All Blacks, while Samartex return home to face Hohoe United.
