Heart of Lions head coach Bashir Hayford has noted that his team will aim to return to winning ways in their next outing in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The team from Kpando remains unbeaten since the start of the league campaign but is winless in their last two matches, drawing goalless with Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak on the road.
Now set to play a third consecutive away match when they face Gold Stars, Bashir Hayford insists that his team must make amends by securing victory to end the winless run.
"I think we have done very well. It was a tough game [against Hearts of Oak], and I think my boys managed them. One point I think is enough. We have played away twice, and we have drawn the last two. We must make amends at home," Bashir Hayford said after Heart of Lions drew with Hearts of Oak on Monday afternoon.
The Week 6 encounter between Heart of Lions and Gold Stars will be played on Monday, October 20. Subsequently, Heart of Lions will return home to host Basake Holy Stars on October 26.
