Communications Director of Bechem United, Emmanuel Gyasi Atuahene, says Aminu Mohammed has the full backing of the club despite failing to impress abroad.
The former WAFA star has joined the Ghana Premier League side on a two-year deal ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
This comes after the former Ghana U-17 star failed to break into the first team of Manchester City despite joining the Premier League side with a lot of promise.
Speaking to Citi Sports, Atuahene has backed Mohammed to excel despite failing to live up to expectations during his stay in England.
“He [Aminu Mohammed] is someone that we have a lot of hope in, we believe in his talent, we believe in what he can do," he said.
"We’ve made him aware that we are all together to support him to live up to expectationsâ¦that will help him get back to the limelight. We are eager to help him relaunch his career," he added.
Bechem United will open their 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season with an away game against defending champions Bibiani GoldStars at the DUN's Park.
