Guinean forward Morifing Donzo has pledged to give his all to his new club, Asante Kotoko.
The attacker signed officially for the Porcupine Warriors on Monday, August 4, becoming one of several key acquisitions made by the Kumasi-based club ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
Speaking after sealing his move, Morifing Donzo said he wants to do his best to make a name for himself at Asante Kotoko.
“I was eager to make this move last season, but sometimes football doesn’t go the way you plan. Better late than never. I’ve spoken with Amos Frimpong who was always convincing me to come, I have also spoken with Mo (Camara) and Joe (Ablorh) and both had nothing but positive things to say about the club.
“I’m here now, ready to give everything, and make a name for myself in front of these fans,” Donzo told AKSC Media.
According to the official club statement from Asante Kotoko, Morifing Donzo has signed a three-year contract.
He will begin his stint once his work permit is secured.
“Asante Kotoko is delighted to announce the signing of Guinean forward Morifing Donzo on a three-year deal, following the successful completion of his medical. The deal is subject to the approval of his work permit,” a club statement from the Reds said.
