Ghanaian forward Kwame Peprah has won his first trophy with Cambodian giants King Svay Rieng after starring in the Super Cup against rivals Phnom Penh Crown.
The former King Faisal striker scored a brace as the Cambodian league champions triumph 5-3 on penalties following a 2-2 draw in regulation time.
Peprah opened the scoring in the 16th minute after connecting a cross from left-back Kim Sokyuth.
However, the Hun Sen Cup champions responded after the break through Bolivian winger Marcarlo Tellez.
The Ghanaian attacker scored again with three minutes left to give King Svay Rieng the lead before a dramatic end to the match saw Phnom Penh Crown snatch a late equalizer.
Sa Ty scored in the 93rd minute to force the game to penalties.
In the shootout, the league winners converted all five of their penalties, while Phnom Penh Crown missed one out of their four attempts, sealing a 5-3 victory for Svay Rieng.
