
Ghana international Ransford Yeboah-Königsdörffer is edging closer to a switch to French Ligue 1 outfit OGC Nice in the current transfer window.
The Black Stars attacker is joining Nice from Hamburger SV ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 football campaign. Yeboah was a standout performer for the German outfit last season, racking up crucial goals to help the club secure promotion to the top-flight.
Nice, who keen on strengthening their squad for the new season has already agree personal terms with the Ghana international. However, the French outfit will have to meet Hamburger SV’s asking price for the transfer of the attacker.
GHANAsoccernet.com has learnt that negotiation between Nice and Hamburger SV is in the final stages, with Yeboah expected to seal a move in the coming days, having completed his medicals earlier.
Yeboah, who is in the final year of his contract is expected to join the French Ligue 1 club on a transfer fee worth â¬6-7m.
The 23-year-old forward has been in the books of Hamburger SV since 2022 and has established himself as a key member of the team. Last season, Yeboah-Königsdörffer netted 14 goals in the Bundesliga 2 for Hamburg.
Nice are hoping to seal the deal to get the Ghana international attacker registered for the preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League.
Yeboah would provide competition for Nigerian forward Terem Moffi, with Evann Guessand still expected to depart between now and the closure of the transfer window.
The French outfit will take on Benfica in the qualifying series on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
