Derrick Kohn’s strong performances last season stirred fresh interest in the defender's next move.
The 26-year-old German-Ghanaian fullback, who joined Galatasaray in February 2024, has reportedly caught the attention of Russian Premier League side Krasnodar.
After a solid loan spell at Werder Bremen, where he recorded two goals and two assists in 34 games last season, Kohn’s value has continued to climb. His energetic runs, work rate, and versatility have not gone unnoticed.
Last summer, Spartak Moscow had reportedly agreed on an â¬8 million deal for Kohn, but the move didn’t materialize. Now, with Krasnodar stepping in, the transfer talk has been reignited.
Kohn is still under contract with Galatasaray until the summer of 2026, and Transfermarkt currently values him at â¬5 million. Though nothing is official yet, clubs like Sassuolo, Udinese, and Werder Bremen are also said to be keeping tabs on his situation.
Galatasaray may face a tough decision in the coming weeks, especially if the interest turns into firm bids. Kohn’s next chapter could soon be unfolding elsewhere.
