Clubs in Algeria and Albania are working to secure the services of Ghana international Razak Simpson.
The player currently on the books of Ghana Premier League outfit Nations Football Club has distinguished himself as a top defender in the last two seasons.
He was recently named the home-based male player of the year at the 2025 Ghana Football Awards.
According to Nations FC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kennedy Boakye Ansah, there have been approaches from Algerian and Albanian clubs to sign Razak Simpson.
Although he notes that the club is open to the transfer of the centre-back, the CEO insists that the club will only sanction a move for the right fee.
"We’ve received a few offers, but nothing concrete yet. We won’t stand in the way of any player who wishes to leave, provided the deal is right for both the player and the club.
“Razak Simpson is Black Stars material, so he certainly won’t come cheapâbut at this stage, we’re not quoting any figures. There have been approaches from clubs in Algeria and Albania, as well as interest from two local sides,” Kennedy Boakye Ansah told JoySports in an interview.
Despite the multiple interests, checks have revealed that Razak Simpson is not in a hurry to leave Nations FC.
