Ghana forward Mohammed Kudus set to sign six-year deal with Tottenham

(Photo by Bryn Lennon/Getty Images)[/caption]Mohammed Kudus is set to sign a six-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur after the north London club reached a 55 million agreement with West Ham United for his transfer.The Ghana international is expected to undergo a medical on Thursday, after which he will commit to Spurs until 2031.The 24-year-old has made Tottenham his preferred destination, and personal terms are not expected to pose any issues.Kudus joined West Ham from Ajax in the summer of 2023 for 41.5 million and impressed in his debut Premier League season, contributing five goals and four assists in 35 league matches.Though his numbers dipped slightly from his debut campaign in England, his overall performances kept him on the radar of Europes top clubs.Tottenham had a 50 million bid rejected earlier this month before tabling the improved offer that brought negotiations to a breakthrough.Kudus release clause valid only for the first 10 days of July had priced him higher for rival Premier League clubs.If finalised, Kudus would become the second major attacking addition for Spurs this summer following the permanent signing of Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich.
