Sports Minister Kofi Adams tours Borteyman Sports Complex

Kofi Adams and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) Chairman, Dr. Kwaku Ofosu, toured the Borteyman Sports Complex in Accra yesterday.The Borteyman Sports Complex is a multi-sport facility built to host the 13th African Games. It sits on a 99.5-acre land acquired from the University of Ghana.During the visit, the Sports Minister revealed that the government plans to develop the remaining land at the complex to boost sports infrastructure in Ghana.As you are aware Governement of Ghana through an arrangement acquired 99 and a half acre of land from University of Ghana for purposes of developing the facility for the All African Games Accra 2023, as aired by Peace FMSo About 43 acres was used in erecting the facilities as we toured today. the remaining portion of land is for future development because the intention is to make sure that Ghana as a sports loving country develop multi sports facility and even add accommodation facility to utilize those ones that are already been done, Read Full Story
